A sprawling landscape with two buildings creates a lovely home that is just waiting for you to relax in comfort. While the builders and owners kept that classic log cabin look on the outside, they also managed to bring modern style to every space.
The covered porch on the front of the home is a welcome entrance to the space inside. I absolutely love this unique glass door on the front entrance. French doors are a personal favorite,a nd in this space, it really adds to the modern feeling while bringing in that rustic exterior.
Wide porches on both sides of the home bring enough space for you to have the ideal relaxing area to lounge on sunny days. Wicker furniture with cushions on the back is perfect for entertaining friends and family, or simply relaxing with your morning cup of coffee.
Inside those doors, you find the open entry of the home with stairs to one side leading to the second-floor loft landing. On the other sides of this entry are the kitchen space as well as the living room. A simple but lovely style follows inside and out with the same hand-hewn logs and chinking throughout the home.
The family room includes picture windows overlooking the porch with a door leading out on the side. A corner fireplace brings warmth to the space that allows you to relax in comfort, no matter what the weather is like outside. Sofas and chairs alongside tables invite you in for a relaxing evening with friends and family.
A corner kitchen brings modern style to the space. Light wood stains on the cabinets above and below a simple granite countertop are ideal for plenty of storage, including pantry necessities.
The island in the middle of the room includes a butcher block top for easy cleanup and use with day-to-day meal preparation. Plus, you have room for four stools against the outer edge of the counter as a cozy breakfast nook or bar.
The bedrooms in this home are truly luxurious with the classic cabin style, including fireplaces. It's a great place to relax and get away from the world with old-school style and beauty.
This log cabin is built on the Prestwick model base with customizations from the owners to suit their favorite additions of style. Wood walls, ceilings, and floors are accented by rugs and art to bring color to the space with fireplaces in multiple rooms adding to the overall warmth of the home.
