The Drewek Camp Mudjeekee cabin is a truly stunning home that is built just by the beach with gorgeous views out one side of the home, and a screened porch on the end just waiting for you to relax with a cozy dinner with friends and family.
The open concept inside this home is ideal for family gatherings and entertaining and perfect for those who love the waterfront property. That wall of windows is just what you want to wake up to in the morning with views of beautiful water outside with the sunrise.
When you drive up to the cabin, the first thing you notice is the small covered awning on the street side with the screened porch off the end of the home. Two floors of open spaces with bedrooms on the top floor and tons of family living space on the bottom create a home that is ideal for families.
The porch on the end easily holds a few chairs or even a table for picnics. In the summer by water, mosquitos are a problem for many, so this home has that screened porch where you can still enjoy the outdoors, without a worry about those bugs bothering you.
Inside the cabin, beautiful woodwork pairs with stonework and even some rough log railings and sides to the stairs, it is a beautiful place to create a home. Two floors of beautiful spaces mean you have all the room you need to raise a family in comfort.
In the middle of the cabin, a wall of windows faces the water but also happens to be the back wall of the living room or family room. A stone fireplace on the side brings in warmth and beauty with a wood mantle for holding those holiday stockings or just a few family pictures.
This space is ideal for a cozy family room to relax, read books, watch movies, or even just sit back and chat.
On the other side of the home, an open kitchen is just what you need for preparing family meals. Light green walls and cabinets surround a light granite countertop. I love the addition of a few glass panel cabinets to show off the dinnerware you have collected.
Stainless steel appliances are modern in this quaint home, but the distressed wood island is one of my favorite additions that brings a bit of a farmhouse look to the space. Just check out that white farmhouse sink under the windows.
The dining room is just behind the kitchen with a lovely screen door looking out over the deck and lake out back. It's beautiful, open, comfortable, and a perfect place for family meals. I love the wooden bench against the window. It's unique and functional while being beautifully built.
