Lake Huron is breathtaking all by itself but this beautiful cabin is just a benefit you can enjoy. A stunning 3-floor cabin with expansive decks and a private stairway to the lake, overlooks the beauty of this gorgeous landscape and one of the Great Lakes.
Off the back of this home, you will find a variety of both covered and open porches and decks. The one below features a plexiglass barrier around the edge so you don't miss a bit of that lake view below.
Another area has a covered space with a large 4-person hot tub just waiting for you to relax in at the end of a busy day.
And, of course, multiple sliding doors off the main and top floors lead out onto covered decks with chairs and tables all over to give you a multitude of spaces to relax outside in the summer months.
Everything about this home was chosen with care, including the double front doors with adorable little glass windows that have their own little set of "shutters" for privacy.
When you step through the front door, you have a great view of the living room, into the main floor bedroom, to the stairs on the right, and even back toward the kitchen on the left.
Stairs just inside the door go both up to the full second story of the home with additional bedrooms, as well as down to the basement space. While the basement isn't shown, it's easy to see how it could be used for more bedrooms, a game room, or even just storage space.
One of my favorite additions in this home is this adorable wagon wheel seat just inside the front door. Rustic and functional!
And across from that is a stone veneer on the wall with an entry table for guests and a main floor half bath just to the side.
The living room has cathedral ceilings just above with the loft railing all along the edge. Another great benefit is that while the living room is only the single floor, the second-floor balcony can be seen from those4 top windows. How cool is that?
The floor to ceiling gorgeous stone fireplace is a statement piece in the living room that is both beautiful and works to keep the home cozy and warm in winter months.
All along the upper half of the living room are openings on the loft as shown. This open space is in front of the upper floor living spaces and ebdrooms. I love the combination of woods and stains here.
Here is a quick peak down the stairs to the basement. I love how this is so centrally located.
And another view up to the loft above from the side of the living room nearest the kitchen. Here you see upstairs there is a special playroom built to look like its own separate "house" inside a house!
In the far corner of the home is the gorgeous family-style kitchen with an oversized dining table.
This picnic table-style bench can easily seat 8 to 10 people with an additional 3 to 4 people on stools in the kitchen. You also can see the white cabinets and beautiful tile backsplash around the kitchen with all of the modern stainless steel appliances giving you everything needed to prepare meals for the family or guests.
And here is another quick look back at the living room. I love this open floor plan with so many rustic details such as different stains on the wood, reclaimed and weathered wood details, and of course, the extra stonework.
The main floor master bedroom suite is my favorite. Built just behind the living area, it has it's own access to the deck outside, a large en-suite bathroom, and more.
The bathroom here has a fun clear bowl sink alongside the dark cabinets and drawers for storage.
But my favorite part of this suite is the master shower. A tile and stone-lined shower with half wall and glass doors is large enough for two people and truly feels like you have stepped into a spa.
Of course, I want to share another quick look upstairs at the loft and how the same rustic style is found throughout these spaces that are designed for kids and family to relax in comfort and style.
