The Trout House is that cabin retreat that you have dreamed of staying in. Located on a hill with stunning grounds, and firepits, on the edge of a river, and three floors of cozy living spaces, it is the ultimate retreat cabin built with family vacations in mind.
This home has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. It easily sleeps up to 10 people, with multiple living spaces and sofas for additional napping and relaxing spaces. Located on a hill just a few years from the Toccoa River, it's close to Blue Ridge but just secluded enough to make you feel like you have run away to a special retreat in the hills.
This cabin has an entrance on the top of the hill with the home itself built into the side of the hill. On the side, a second entrance allows you to enter the basement level of the home, and decks surround the home on all levels with even more relaxing areas around the base of the home outside.
The real magic of this home is when you see it lit up after dark! Just look at the beautiful spaces!
A cozy fire pit is the best place to relax after the sunsets! Roast marshmallows or just relax and star gaze!
The decks even have bistro sets and their own fireplaces for cozy seating outside.
Inside the living room, you have a welcoming space with multiple sofas and chairs to gather around and watch a movie or even just relax with a book.
And the windows throughout the home bring in tons of natural light. So beautiful and give a warm glow to the home.
The dining area is just off the corner of the living room and kitchen with a side door to the deck with a grill just outside for easy weekend meals.
Below you get a nice view of the main floor of the home so you can see the overall view and layout of the home.
The kitchen is a small corner kitchen that while not overly large has everything you need on hand. Full-sized appliances, all utensils, and cookware, plus tons of pantry storage space.
Upstairs, the loft landing has a little corner chair with a desk and chair for a little office nook, but it also has a door leading out to the upper deck of the home.
The bedrooms are all large and comfortable with a variety of bed sizes including King, queen, and full-sized mattresses.
I love that some of the rooms also have a private door to the decks on the back of the home. A romantic space to relax under the stars at night.
I love that many of the bedrooms have access to the decks. It really extends the space and gives you a private oasis away from others when needed.
Tons of storage in closets and storage chests throughout this space. You can unpack and make yourself at home with ease.
The bathrooms are also luxurious with tiled shower and bathtub combinations and unique galvanized bucket sinks that add a fun farmhouse style to the space.
The master bathroom has this stunning two-person shower that is incredible! That with live edge countertops and unique mirrors make it look upscale while keeping the rustic vibe.
Even the half baths are cozy and rustic with tons of shelves and open storage space.
And open showers like this one are just so nice and the tilework is stunning. I love the rainwater showerhead too!
The bottom floor or basement level is also filled with space for the family. You have multiple seating areas, a game table, a bar, and even bunks here for added sleeping space.
Of course, this level also walks out onto the property with a side door that takes you right to the lower level fire pit and patio or deck spaces.
I love that the basement level has a wet bar but also a bathroom and another sleeping area. YOu have so much room here to spread out and have different spaces for each family member to relax in comfort.
