The Lexington log cabin is one classic build with everything you can ever want in a home. Classic lines, log walls, ceilings, and floors, along with a traditional metal roof and stone accents combine to build a family home that is modern while maintaining the classic look we all know and love.
There aren't a lot of details given about the Lexington build, but it still has plenty to observe. From the image above, you can see the garage is adjacent to the home. There is potentially a breezeway connecting them, but if not it is a short distance between the garage and the side of the cabin.
Additionally, you will notice the partially covered porch but also a nice open deck on the front of the home. While the backside is not shown, I can see above that the porch and deck extend down the full front of the home.
As you enter the log cabin from the side door, you'll see stairs to the second floor immediately in front of you with the open space to the right leading right into the living space and great room. From this view, you get a nice look out of the windows and can see how the space is laid out comfortably for everyday life.
On the other side, from this angle, you get a view of the front door and how it opens up into the home. You can see it is adjacent to that wall of windows and stone chimney that is seen in the first image above.
As is common in a great room, the cathedral ceilings here open up and create a larger space that makes the home feel bigger than the square footage shown. With the tall ceilings and these trapezoid windows, you get tons of natural light flowing into the home.
Another featured part of the home in this tour is the kitchen. For many, the kitchen is the center of the home not just where meals are prepared, but where friends and family gather. While this kitchen only has one small island bar, it opens up to the living space and dining area so you can easily prepare meals while chatting with friends and family.
Wooden cabinets match the stain and trim around the home and line this beautiful kitchen with tons of storage. White appliances add to the simple theme with a refrigerator and dishwasher on the far left and the microwave and stove on the center back wall. To the right, you can also see a larger cabinet that most likely acts as a pantry.
Below is one example of a bedroom in this home. The classic style of this space is decorated with vintage and antique pieces showcasing beautiful woodwork and stain.
There is plenty of room here for a queen or even king-sized bed, a few tables, a small seating area, and of course a chest of drawers and a wardrobe. Not shown is most likely a closet, and if the master space, potentially an en-suite bathroom.
